This is my entry for TheVioletHours' A Day You Remember Contest. It's based on the day my dog Tanka died, two weeks ago. On 28-04, my dad told me that she was too old and too sick, so he called the vet. He'd come two days later. But on 29-04, our dog was so sick that we decided to call the vet to ask him if he could come earlier. I went to school, but I felt like crying the whole day. My friends really helped and supported me, and I'm really thankfull for them. That evening, he putted her to sleep. We were holding her all the time, and she died really calm. After the vet left, we burried her in the garden. I still miss her everyday. It feels weird when you expect to hear her footsteps, and then remember that she's dead. This scene in HP describes the best what I've felt that day. I've watched her die, just like Harry watched Dobby die. That's why I chose this scene.
